Scottish Highland Piper

Dave McKenzie is a full-time, freelance professional bagpiper and native Tarheel living in his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina, and working throughout the southeastern region of the United States.  He has been playing the bagpipes since 1980 and is an accomplished musician on several instruments, the pipes being primary among them. 

Dave has been self-employed full-time as a piper since 1999. In addition to bagpipe playing, Dave makes his living as a freelance television technician and teaches several languages.

Dave wears many hats as a working piper: teacher, performer, competing soloist and bandsman, occasional composer, and enthusiast for everything new in the world of innovative bagpipe technology...
